Kravitz has been meaning for several months to talk to him. Ideally he’d ask him out, but no. That’s too much too soon. He just wants to talk to Taako once or twice, maybe even be friends. Taako’s intimidating, though. He’s not popular, not in the way his sister is. There aren’t many people he hangs out with, but he’s at every party. He’s so cool, in what seems like an effortless way. Not like Kravitz. Kravitz is in marching band and auditions for every play only to get cast as a background character. He’s in a shitty band with his two best friends. They’re called The Three Coffins. He doesn’t get invited to parties.
