Summary
Terminal City was abandoned after an attack five years ago, survivors scattered to fend for themselves. Alec's been on his own for a while now, trying to forget what he lost, but then Ben shows up to make him remember in all the wrong ways. After an armed robbery and a city-wide manhunt that results in high-speed chases, gunshot wounds, more dead transgenics, and a hostage situation or two, Alec tracks Ben down to thank him properly.
Warning for "off-screen" major character deaths (not Ben or Alec), violence, and OC casualties.

If there's one thing Logan's learned about X5s, it's that few of them can resist the shiny lure of buttons. Maybe it's the cat in them, and maybe some got more of that DNA than others because Alec, especially, seems to believe wholeheartedly that buttons can't reach their full potential if no one pushes them. Logan only wishes explosions were the worst that could happen in an age infected with mad scientists.

Sam thinks Dean is happy where he is, doesn't want to ruin it. Adam is still wondering how they ever got this far if Sam was the brains of their outfit. He knew Dean for five whole minutes and even he knows Dean is likely drowning in a bottle to escape the gaping chasm where Sam should be.
