Summary
It’s a futile threat, to the man that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent men and women and children, but it’s all Samura can muster in the moment, like a prisoner throwing their gruel at a guard in the naive hope it might open an unforeseen path to freedom.
Of course, Akemura stays.

Summary
Natsuki learnt how to read a person when he was too young, a necessary survival instinct, and he despises that Uruha has that same skill. He keeps close, moves closer, until their noses are touching and their lips are barely brushing. “Right now, Natsuki, what do you want?”

Summary
It’s strangely humanising, seeing Yura’s unmade bed, the thought of him waking up groggy with his hair a mess. They’ve only ever met each other in finely pressed suits, even when Samura appears idly and without a second thought – even with Yura in just his shirt, slowly unbuttoning Samura’s own, it feels like they’re shedding skin.

Summary
When Akemura feels good, the flowers that bloom over Yura don't hurt; rather than pain, he feels symbiosis, some sort of deeper connection, alien and inexplicable. They sprout from his veins, from his blood, feeding on it like parasites; they drain him from his energy and infuse him with Akemura's, so much so that by the end of it, he's not sure of his own identity or name. Is he still himself, or has Akemura taken him over so thoroughly he's simply another extension of him? Is he still an individual, or is he merely a part of Magatsumi's strange ecosystem, a single flower in an eternal garden?
