Modern AU.
Maul thought prison would be the end of Sidious’ punishment.
He was wrong.
Prison is only the cleanest part of it.
Sidious does not need to break him all at once. He has time. He has money. He has the law, the city, and every door Maul will one day be desperate enough to knock on.
By the time Sidious finally opens one, Maul has already learned what mercy costs.

Summary
A direct continuation of Shadow Lord (Cartoon).
After being brought back to the emperor’s side, Maul is given a title he never asked for and a place he cannot escape: the emperor’s unwilling consort.
He tells himself that hatred is the last thing the emperor cannot take from him. He tells himself that all he wants is the chance to kill him.
But the emperor knows better.
In the palace, possession can resemble tenderness, silence can become punishment, and even resistance may be shaped by the hand that holds it.

Summary
After his defeat, Maul is dragged back to Coruscant in chains and delivered to the Emperor’s throne room.
Sidious does not kill him. Death would be too simple, too merciful. Instead, he gives Maul a new name, a slave’s status, and a place at the foot of the Imperial throne, where every breath, every movement, and every humiliation belongs to him.
But the Emperor has never been content with mere punishment.
