Summary
SHE releases their wrists from HER grasp, and their hands fall down to their thigh. With two fingers, they pinch the wound, making blood pour out more. It stops bleeding after that, but there's still blood pooled up. Some of it hits their finger. It's warm, but the cut still doesn't feel as much. It's weird. It's so weird. Their head is swimming with thoughts.
"How do you feel?" SHE asks, cutting them out of their stupor. They look up at her, hands still cupping their thigh. How do they feel? They take a deep breath.
"...Real."
SHE grins.-
On the surface, the Dreemurrs and Holidays seem like the picture-perfect families. Friends since collage, their kids grew up together. Amazing neighbors, good people. They contribute to their community. They're church going people.
A shame no one ever looks too hard. Not even the families themselves. -

Hunter looked at Luz with those stupid puppy-dog eyes, and Luz's chest burst with a multitude of emotions. "Don't even--" "I'm your big brother, that's my job." The two stared at each other for a moment, both adorning solemn faces. Luz chuckled, looking up and closing their eyes. "I wish I was born wish you as my older sibling. Instead of..." Luz looked back down, staring at his hands, grimacing.
Not to be dramatic, but Luz's life is kinda wack.
