Summary
Taeyong couldn’t stop thinking about the night when Doyoung finally unleashed the totality of his carnal powers. They’d never discussed it, and the way Doyoung continued to act exactly the same as he’d always had, extremely doting and oh-so-sweet at all times, led Taeyong to question the reality of his experience—did it even happen? Or was his own subconscious that powerful? That capable of harnessing his own desires into something extraordinary; something beyond the pale; supernaturally sensual to the nth degree.
The images of that night haunted Taeyong with a vulgar persistence, the ghostly specter of his own body, pinned to the bed, utterly consumed by the apparition of Doyoung. The spirit of the sensations–unlike anything any mere mortal could induce, overwhelming in their erotic energy, which had subsumed his very existence—had Taeyong hard on a regular basis, recalling the ravishing at the worst of times with the flashbacks shocking his system with impunity, turning him on to the point of pain when there was no relief in sight.

There's something odd about the small town of Delphi; with its friendly, diverse residents, pristine main street, and giant Catholic church that seems to preside over all of it. Newcomer Taeyong isn't sure what to make of it, especially about the church's priest, Father Kim, who shows a particular interest in Taeyong from the day he moves to town. Is there something more sinister afoot? Or is Father Kim simply excited at the prospect of shepherding a lost lamb towards the light of the Lord?

Doyoung slams on the brakes. Something darts into the road in front of him. He knew there were deer in this area but he’d tried not to think about it too hard, to not burden himself with the extra anxiety. Thank god his reflexes were still functioning.
The thing freezes in the glare of Doyoung’s headlights. This is no deer. It’s bipedal, practically human looking, with shiny, leathery black covering most of its body. It has huge wings, orange and black, not unlike that of a monarch butterfly, sprouting from just near its shoulder blades. Its face is golden, or maybe it’s just reflecting the light, with giant, unblinking eyes. The first word that comes to mind, strangely, is “beautiful.”
It jerks, gripping its side as if realizing it’s injured. The more he looks at it, the more human it looks. What if it’s someone in some sort of elaborate costume? What if they’re hurt? Doyoung opens the door.
“Excuse me.” He sticks half of his body out of the car. “Are you okay? Do you need me to call an ambulance?”
It stares at him with those big, dark eyes. The blood drains from Doyoung’s face. The hairs on the back of his neck stand up. There’s nothing human about those eyes.

Summary
Taeyong thought that having a boyfriend who was secretly an ancient demonic entity would be decisively more… demonic. Instead, as he discovered over the course of the past few years, Doyoung was downright angelic. Sure, Taeyong was grateful to be dating an actual nice guy, not just a “nice guy”, for once in his life but still—he did have a thing for bad boys.
Alternately: Taeyong finally manages to convince his demon boyfriend to utilize his abilities in the bedroom.
