Summary
See, Silco had always had a strange relationship with danger. It made him a fearless leader of riots and uprisings. When going on a heist, he was the first one in and the last one out. He’d learned to pick locks and disable simple, and later more complicated, traps. Silco was the one they sent to negotiate because he wouldn’t let anyone intimidate him, no matter if their opponents wore masks and armour and carried guns. Silco was fearless. Silco flirted with death.

Summary
“Silco, I’m—”
“I don’t want to hear it,” Silco rasps.
The pain in Vander’s eyes is beautiful, and he drinks it in until he feels slightly dizzy from it. His whole being aches.
“That day at the Pilt—”
With a few steps Silco is right in front of him, his heart rabbiting in his chest as desire and fear war against each other. Vander is half a head taller than him, broader, more muscular, and probably also faster. Silco used to love watching him in the ring, facing down opponent after opponent with violent grace.
“I said,” he says, “I don’t want to hear it.”
Then he kisses Vander.
“But,” Vander gasps and tries to break away, “what—”
“Less talking,” Silco demands.
Tentatively, Vander’s hands come to sit on his narrow hips. They still fit like they used to, and Silco shakes only a little.Bookmarked by drynewt
