Summary
With his dream of harnessing magic shattered, Jayce barely manages to escape banishment by joining the ranks of knighthood. To prove himself to the royal guard, he is given the task to protect Piltover's crown prince. At first glance, this does not seem like the kind of quest to give Jayce his honour back - Viktor is strange, yes, but he has absolutely no interest in participating in the ruthless, backstabbing game of politics, and as such he doesn't pose a threat to the power hungry nobles of Piltover and beyond. But Jayce soon notices that at court not all is how it seems, and that if he wants to protect the prince, he'll have to be ready to give everything, even his life and worse, his honour.
Or: Jayce is a knight, Viktor is a prince. I'm sure you know where this is going.

Summary
“A Piltovan pet,” Silco remarked. He was sipping on a flute of vibrant red blood, his corrupted eye glowing meanly in the gloomy room. At his own feet, several Zaunite humans knelt and sat. Their collars had rubbed their skin raw, and their eyes showed the emptiness of a strong vampire’s thrall. “A unique choice. What enchantments did you put on the collar to keep him so obedient?”
Jayce tensed beneath Viktor’s hand. Viktor hoped Silco hadn’t noticed. “He’s a mild tempered creature, really,” he said, threading just the right amount of boredom into his voice. “Very well behaved. Poor thing stumbles over his own feet to please me. It’s quite good that he’s kneeling. He’s less clumsy like that. Isn’t that right, puppy?”
Or: Viktor and Jayce try to deceive a room full of vampires. It goes about as well as one might expect.

“They won’t,” Jayce says. “I’ll take full responsibility.”
“I can’t,” Caitlyn says. “You could die, Jayce. And it’d be my fault because I allowed you to take a feral vampire home.”
“I won’t die,” he says, though he’s not so sure. “Please, sprout. They’re sentient, I know I can reach them. They’re just violent because they have been kept in a cage and treated like an animal.”
“Oh ye Gods,” Caitlyn groans, though Jayce can see in her eyes that he’s won. “I can’t believe I am saying this, but take the cage, take the blood reserves in the fridge and go. Don’t get caught.”Or: Jayce falls in love with a traumatised vampire.

“V-viktor?” Jayce’s voice sounds choked. Choked and trembling. Viktor doesn’t like it one bit.
“It’s me, Jayce. What’s wrong? Is Ximena alright?”
“Mama is fine. I—” He breaks off, stifling a sob that Viktor can hear clearly nonetheless. Listening to Jayce trying to find the words, he finally manages to close the clasps that tighten the brace around his leg. Jayce is struggling to breathe evenly. Viktor thinks he makes out something crashing in the background. Some yelling, a hitch in Jayce’s breath. “Can you come get me?”Or: Viktor and Mel pick Jayce up after Jayce's boyfriend throws him out of their shared apartment.

Janna. “How long until the effect wears off?”
Viktor shrugged. “Not sure, sir. If the pollen is as potent when processed as it is in its natural state, it could be hours.”
Hours. Hours of the employee Silco was inappropriately attracted to squirming and aroused, making eyes at him and flirting horribly. He couldn’t send Viktor home on his own like this, but he also couldn’t really call an ambulance.
“It wears off after intercourse,” his brilliant scientist continued, apparently oblivious to the ethical debate being fought in Silco’s thoughts. Viktor’s free hand sneaked down his chest. “And you’re overdressed.”
