Summary
“I have an idea. Why don’t we decide over a game? You can even pick if you’d like.”
A real original idea. Husk just about stops himself from rolling his eyes into the back of his skull. Instead he huffs out a laugh. Reaches for the bottle again. “You really think that’s a good idea?”
Valentino isn’t the first Demon to challenge Husk to a gamble, and he won’t be the last, but there is true stupidity in challenging the Gambling Demon to a game of cards. And of course Valentino, just like everyone that has come before him, is planning to cheat. He wants a deal between his three and Husk too badly to let it all slip through his fingers, so he’ll do everything in his power to tip the game in his favour.Or: Valentino gambles with Angel’s soul contract. Angel gets the better end of the deal.

Summary
"Royal Flush, loser."
The tone of the Gambling Overlord's purring voice reverberated through Angel Dust like a bolt of electricity. He felt the smoky red chain loosen around his neck, until a much heavier, much more intricate golden chain clamped around it once more. Angel was free from Valentino. But his new Overlord seemed twice as terrifying.
Or
An Overlord Husk AU! Val gets too cocky whilst playing against Husk, and bets Angel's soul to make it more interesting. Of course, he loses, and now Angel needs to adjust to his new master, and the new ~feelings~ that have come along with him. Trigger warnings in the first couple of chapters for Valentino - after all, he is in Hell for a reason!

Summary
When demons fall into Hell, the memories of the life they lived are fresh, as if their lives before had never stopped. But as the years go on, those memories begin to fade like photo negatives exposed to the sun. Soon, there’s very little of the human past they left behind.
Angel Dust and Husk are both struggling as they begin to remember their human lives after many years.
Anthony and Henry find each other amongst Mob controlled New York.
What goes around in life comes around after death.
DISCLAIMER: This fic was written in the interim period between the pilot being posted in 2019 and the cast announcement in October 2023. Henry as a character is a creation of our own and is therefor portrayed as he is. We recognize that with the casting of Keith David, this portrayal is probably not true to canon. We worked with the information we had at the time and hope that you can read and enjoy this fic given the context in which it was created.
