Summary
Karamatsu remained soft, Ichimatsu did not.
And like any current in the ocean, it crashed over everything around and beneath it, bringing it down to the best of its ability.

Summary
It's been just over two years since the brothers all left home to go their separate ways, leaving only one behind. Osomatsu never did figure out how to make that first step forward. Maybe it's better this way. (For who?)
None of the brothers have achieved that happiness of an adult life they've heard so much about. Leaving home without any real plans, long before any of them were ready, left each of them stuck in a daily sludge of misery and resentment. Well- everyone except for Ichimatsu. Nobody's heard from him since the moment he left the Matsuno household.
It might take the death of a loved one for the brothers to finally realize they were never better off alone.
