She’s counselling care, but she can already feel herself preparing to throw any notion of caution to the wind. Even if she and Aaron don’t voice their feelings - even if they pretend that this means less than everything to them - their actions give them away completely. The fact Aaron is here, holding her like she’s made of glass, speaks for itself.
