Summary
If Bela Dimitrescu was to describe herself, she would not tell anyone she is easily annoyed by one human in particular, and would instead focus on her more redeemable qualities: her patience to not kill the mayor's daughter, her strength to keep herself in check, and her abundance of generosity that the insufferable wretch has yet to lose her life. In spite of all this, Mayor Aldea's only daughter seems hellbent on making Bela's life as miserable as possible, and her patience, for once, is running thin.
Not that it matters. Bela is completely capable of ignoring the vexing woman and acting as maturely as possible, as the eldest and the heir to the Dimitrescu name. She simply... chooses a different path. And eventually, that path will send her thoughts spiraling into sinful areas in which she cannot escape from, but she'll be fine. It's what she tells herself, anyway, as she imagines the Aldea woman beneath her in a growing number of ways, all ending in whines and whimpers.

Summary
Throughout the entirety of Cassandra's life, she knew herself to be drawn to tragedy. It made the most sense to her. She was deserving of nothing else. People in her life came and went like the changing of the seasons, and she found herself rather used to the push and pull of mortal life. How easily things can change. How she can forget.
But the thought lingers and persists in the back of her mind. She mourns the loss of someone she cannot remember, and she finds these feelings stranger than anything else in her odd life within Castle Dimitrescu. Sketches and a single, leather bird mask is all she has to remember them by, and it only infuriates her further each time she finds the wall blocking her memories.
Until she sees them again. Until she realizes they are closer to her than she ever thought.

Summary
“No.”
“But Elena–”
“Absolutely not.”
“You’re not hearing me out on this–”
“Because you’re being one stupid ass!” Elena whips around to face you, still seeming appalled at your proposal.
“But no one talks to her! At services, it’s dead quiet. And no assistants, just the four lords? She must be so sad!” You protest, dejectedly taking a bite from the sandwich you had bought.
“It’s Mother Miranda, you dimwit!” Elena put her drink down for the sole purpose of rubbing her temples. You two are seated out on the terrace of Luiza’s cafe, as you usually are on Thursday afternoons. “She wants to be alone, sending her fanmail is not going to do anything but probably piss her off.”
OR
As a half-joke, half-attempt to gain her attention, you start sending Mother Miranda mail.
Obviously, she doesn't respond.
Until she does.

Summary
All her life, Cassandra Dimitrescu has known the rhythm of the hunt. The chase, the screams, the silence that follows. Mortals run, they cry, they beg, they break. Until one doesn't. You don't.
The knife struck the wall with a sharp, defiant thud; close enough to cut the air between you. Your eyes met hers, steady and unflinching, lit with something that wasn’t fear. For the first time in her life, Cassandra forgot how to breathe. For the first time, she hesitated. That hesitation became the beginning.
She started watching you: through the corridors, across candlelit dinners, from behind the rim of her wine glass. You walked the castle like someone who already knew she was doomed, yet dared the devil to prove it.
Curiosity became fascination.
Fascination curdled into obsession.
And obsession, in time, became hunger. In Castle Dimitrescu, where affection tastes like blood and interest is a fatal indulgence, Cassandra finds herself facing a truth far more dangerous than any weapon: she doesn’t want to kill you. She wants to know you. To unravel you.
And if that means losing herself in the process, then so be it.
