Summary
The first night home, you didn’t sleep a wink. You stayed next to his little bed, staring, softly brushing your fingers through his hair. He wakes up around five, slowly blinking his eyes open.
Blue. Ocean blue.
Seeing you, he smiles.

Summary
Matteo’s getting through his final year of school just fine, thank you. He’s got a giant stack of braille textbooks, a group of friends who love him, he’s mostly admitted (to himself) that he’s gay, and that’s all he really needs, right now.
David’s plan for this year was get in, get out with his Abi done - no attachments, no one finding out that he’s trans. The plan had not left any openings for accidentally falling for Matteo. But here he was anyway.

Summary
Matteo is struggling with his mental health, and although he goes to therapy and takes his meds daily, he still needs something to make his body less lethargic. At his therapist's suggestion he tries to find a physical activity, and he finds himself at the entrance to a communal swimming pool, not sure what to do.
David has always loved swimming, but he hasn't gone into the water since long before he started to transition. Still, he takes a part time job as a life guard at a swimming facility not far from his and Laura's flat, needing the income to pay the rent. When a boy he's never seen before comes by his work, looking as out of place as David too often feels, he can't help but reach out.
Contains: Struggles with mental health, description of dysphoria, and two gay dorks falling in love.

Summary
There’s slow mornings, and then there’s this; private moments just between them. Matteo knows he is the only one noticing the colour of the sky outside on this Sunday morning because David’s dark eyes are fixed on him. David is an artist; He’s supposed to look at the sky and see colour and meaning and beauty, so Matteo knows it means something.
Matteo works the Sunday morning shift at Berlin's pinkest coffee house. David is the only customer. Every week.
