Before Eddie could insist, he was silenced by the view of Buck standing up from the water, swim trunks dripping wet and plastered to his large, muscular thighs. Every curve of his body was accentuated in that moment. It was like a slow motion Baywatch scene and Eddie was no better than a horny teenager.Buck's housewarming party ends in the hot tub, where one thing leads to another, and Eddie finds himself feeling very attracted to his best friend.

Dean Winchester decided to use his new found freedom of responsibilities to pack up and move to Los Angeles to stick his feet in the sand, get some sun, enjoy the movie magic in motion, and decide how he wants to spend the rest of his life. He was definitely not running away from the personal consequences and feelings of the past few months.
At least, that is what he had thought at first.
He did not expect to be peer pressured into attending Alcoholics Anonymous by Sam, Jody, and by extension the wayward sisters and Eileen, when they decided that Dean needed to stop with the liquor and spirits, and instead deal with the ghosts of grief weighing down his shoulders.
He also didn't expect to be taken under the wing of a firefighting captain with the same name as one of the ghosts he was running from.

Buck swung one leg over the porch rail and hopped down, landing with a soft thud. He was close now. Not touching, but close enough that Eddie caught the scent of beer on his breath.
“Only when it works,” Buck raised his beer to take a sip, eyes never leaving Eddie. “Is it working?”
