Summary

The story closely follows chapter 138 of the manga & is heavily canon-compliant. The progression is a slow burn as they work through their problems and learn about intimacy. There are fluffy and sexual moments, but the tragedy of their lives is touched upon.

“I’ve always loved you,” she looks down at her feet, her hands lifting to her neck to raise a scarf she left in their luggage because of the heat, “Ever since we were kids, actually."
