Newly of age, Draco Malfoy, is set to return for his seventh and final year at Hogwarts. His final year should have been easy- Head Boy duties, homework and staying out of harms way from the impending war. Of course, he should have known it wouldn't be that simple especially with Veela blood running through his veins. Now he has to find his mate, keep them both safe while trying to keep his heritage a secret.

Hermione’s hand was poised above the door knob. She stood outside the small shop for several minutes before she even approached the wooden door. It was almost closing time. She watched him help a customer through the picture window for some time, hidden in the street’s dark shadows at the junction of Diagon and Knockturn Alleys. Her eyes took in the bold lettering of the store sign, The Poisoned Pen, Books and Potions, Est. 2008. She smiled at the name despite her nerves.
