Summary
Hopping from one floating rock to another in pursuit of the flying pokemon brought her to one of the larger islands, with a few rocky outcroppings and one of those weird reverse-waterfalls, but it also brought her to a small cabin sitting a stone’s throw from the riverbank. The unexpected little house seemed to have been made from the same purple rock as the island, with dark wood framing, a simple thatched roof, and a tied-back blue curtain instead of a door. The togekiss landed on the front gable of the roof, and a figure seated at a low table outside the cabin seemed to take notice and look around.
In which an older Dawn returns to the Distortion World and has a very interesting conversation.

"No, no, it was perfect." Lohen's grin widened. "I was already winding up for the first strike when—" He mimed a shove with his whole body. "A random gust of wind hits me from the side and sends me tumbling downhill like a sack of potatoes. And when I got back up?" His expression crumpled into genuine tragedy. "Gone. Both of them. Just poof. Vanished into thin air."
Paimon tilted her head. "Huh? They just… disappeared?"
"Disappeared," Lohen repeated, the word bitter on his tongue. "I didn't even get to land a single hit. I had a bruised hand, nothing serious, I've had worse, and I was about to try fighting them one-handed just to make it interesting. And then the wind ruined everything."
