  Summary

  As a former Tyrell, and sister to the heir of their family name, Elynora knows well the dangers that come with playing the oldest game in all the Seven Kingdoms: the play for the Iron Throne.
  She hasn’t had that name for a long time, not since her marriage to Tyrion Lannister at sixteen. In the four years that have passed, Nell has come to an uncomfortable realization: That, unlike her sister, she has no want for the Iron Throne, nor the power that comes with it. Instead, she dreams for a freer, calmer life, one outside of the demands of her father–by–law, by the Queen, and by the Realm itself. As tensions rise between the Seven Kingdoms, she’s met with the truth that she must either crawl her way out of King’s Landing, or die trying.

  author’s note: this is a rewrite of an unfinished fic i wrote titled “That Unwanted Animal”! glad to be back writing and i hope i can make it through more of this fic with less delays. as an FYI, there will be some changes to the story, as the main plot and character writing will be a blend of the ASOIAF books and the show attached to them
