"Will you marry me?"
Seulgi could only stare. Her mind went blank. Her mouth parted slightly, but no words came out.
Jaeyi, ever patient, tilted her head, still holding out the ring. Her knees were beginning to ache from the hard floor. Maybe she should have brought a cushion.
Seulgi finally found her voice. "What the fuck?"

Summary
At a prestigious university in Seoul, four students—Subin, Woo-ri, Hyeri, and Hyewon—live seemingly privileged lives, but each harbors dangerous secrets tied to their families. Subin, created through a genetic experiment, holds immense power. Woo-ri unknowingly carries a vaccine that could save or doom humanity. Hyeri and Hyewon begin to uncover the truth about their father’s past.
The real threat is Umbra Core, a corrupt organization of geneticists disguised as 미래유전연구원 (Future Genetics Institute), who aim to weaponize the students’ unique genetic traits.
Amidst rising danger, a forbidden romance blossoms between Subin and Hyeri, drawing them deeper into a web of conspiracy, love, and survival. As they face betrayal and uncover dark truths, they must decide if they are the cure—or the weapon that could destroy it all.

Summary
"You’re dead." The words slipped out before Seul-gi could stop them.
Yoo Jae-yi blinked, then snorted. "Rude."
Seul-gi nearly dropped dead herself.
"Wh—what—how—" Words failed her. Her heart was fighting for its life.
Jae-yi tilted her head, watching her with an infuriating mix of amusement and curiosity. "You should really work on forming complete sentences."
Seul-gi took a step back. Then another. "You’re supposed to be—you're—how—"
"Ghosts don’t drink coffee," Jae-yi pointed out, raising the mug like it was evidence. She took a step forward.
Seul-gi didn’t care. "DON’T COME NEAR! YOU’RE A DAMN GHOST!"
Jae-yi laughed. Actually laughed. "And you’re dramatic."
