Summary
Kazuha saw Cervus Minor for the first time.
He held Heizou’s handkerchief in his hands, then. A deer embroidered upon the stark white fabric. He had kept it for far too long, as if it became a keepsake. His eyes drifted between that handkerchief and the constellation in question. Neither of them bore any semblance of him, in the form of maple leaves.
He wanted to weave himself onto that fabric, if only to accompany that deer. He wanted to rearrange those stars, because Acer Palmatum deserved a place beside Cervus Minor. He wanted to love Heizou, except he’s only enamored by the idea of someone meant for him.
He yearned for the deer’s cry, because there never was a greater companion.

Summary
Kaeya often stared at the painting hung above the staircase, monumental in size. It depicted all three of them, in strokes of mirthful gouache. He could almost discern each jovial shade, it was meant to be a display of complete joy. A play at perfection, in its purest form. He’s at the center of that canvas, smiling ever deceptively. A traitor.
He felt nothing of its bright colors, or the way the sunlight danced across it. That’s the first time he’d wished to destroy something, to cut straight through the canvas. He dreamt of its edges, marred beyond recognition.
A smile crept to his cheeks, as if he’s enamored by such devastating things.

Kazuha only stopped giggling once Albedo curled around him tighter, and he offered a contented hum in response. Albedo felt him instantly relax against his chest, and he absentmindedly brushed through his hair as the banter continued. "He didn't tell me to say anything, perhaps I'm just feeling affectionate today." A hand reached to cusp Kaeya's cheek, then. "You'll just have to deal with me, for now."
“I’ve been dealing with you for too long, really.” Kaeya mumbled, except there’s still an adoring smile afterwards.
Albedo pinched his cheek, despite the smile. “And yet you’re still here, anyway. You love me, Kae.” His features softened, to suit his own adoration. “If you disagree, then … ” He returned to laughing, simply. “Nevermind. I won’t let you leave either, I’m afraid.”
This only made Kaeya decidedly huffier. “What will you let me do, then?”
“I’ll let you kiss me.”
