It should have ended with the usual malicious eye contact. Why anyone would put Todoroki and Bakugou in the same changing room was beyond them. Yuuei is lucky that they both were gunning for top of the class and the school. If either of them lost sight of that goal and let their pride swallow them, they’d probably demolish half the school before anyone could break up their fight. They are two incompatible halves — quiet, shouldering disdain and a wildfire — never meant to come together.
And yet.
Something snaps that day, and now the two of them are on each other like a swarm of bees, all teeth and tongue and desperate hands. It is a new way of fighting — a grab for a different kind of power.
