Summary
Caine has worked tirelessly to create a written list of facts about every circus member. Even with his broken memory, he has managed to make friends with everyone in the circus, constantly reviewing his notes to make sure he doesn't forget anything about them.
And then there's Jax.
Jax yearns for the days before Caine befriended the people in the circus. Before, the circus was a source of chaos and wild entertainment. Now, it was about friendship and being open about your feelings and spending time with each other. The chaotic flair that Jax had thrived on was gone. All because of that stupid list.
It was time for things to go back to the way things were. Jax would make it so Caine would never want to be friends with the circus members again. Caine had built himself up. And Jax was going to break him down.

“I asked if you were binding right now,” She repeated, voice stern. “Which you know, would not be good at all since you just back from Spider-Man-ing. Because you’re not supposed to wear it while exerting yourself. Because you’re not supposed to wear it for more than eight hours, and if you put it on as soon as you woke up like usual, it would be at least twelve hours. Right, Peter?”
