“You wanted to see me, Mori?”
That voice.
Even through the haze, Chuuya’s spine tried to straighten. It failed. Dazai strolled in like he owned the place—long coat swishing, face full of disinterest—until his eyes landed on Chuuya. Then he stopped.
And blinked.
And grinned.
Wide. Unholy.
“Oh my god,” Dazai breathed, eyes sparkling with wicked amusement as he took in the image of Chuuya, slack-jawed and puffy-faced, tissues stuffed in his mouth like an off-brand hamster.
“Is the slug high?”
He sounded utterly delighted.

Summary
The Agency and Port Mafia are in an alliance at the request of their leaders, Dazai Osamu and Fukuzawa Yukichi. Nobody truly understands this decision but in respect of their leaders, they won't question it. With an alliance comes joint missions with members of each side. And for whatever reason Oda's boss agreed to the idea to partner Akutagawa with the White Reaper, Nakajima Atsushi. Oda can already feel his hair going white.

Summary
"It was October 23rd. Kunikida and Dazai had been dating for 61 days -- that's 2 months. Exactly. Dazai hasn't drunken any alcohol for two and a half weeks.
They were trying to keep their relationship private from the rest of the agency, more like Kunikida was trying, Dazai made it quite obvious, actually. Their desks were closer now, they took their lunch breaks together, and maybe those things would've been excusable, if they didn't leave together everyday, and if Dazai hadn't started cuddling with him during their break on the couch multiple times. Dazai had become absolutely head over heels for Kunikida in the last two months, it's like he let himself feel a tiny bit of emotion and then it all exploded because he'd remembered how good it feels to be in love with someone who loves you back. That hadn't happened since Chuuya."

Tecchou leans forward- Jouno is sure that faithful worry is glimmering in the man’s eyes- and he pleads. “Come on, Teruko, after everything, don’t you trust us to help you? To handle it, too?”
She stops. Jouno cannot see what exactly happens. But the racing pulses, skipping in disbelief, and the lack of words- they tell him enough.
Hunting Dogs cannot be tender, nor merciful, and especially not vulnerable and weak. But the loss of their captain changes everything, even in ways that are not immediately apparent.
Or: an assignment takes an unexpected turn, one which teaches the Hunting Dogs that they care more than they might want to. And that’s okay.
