Summary
Goryeo is a land where people can fly and become immortal, where mystical beasts roam and demons lurk in the shadows. Gihun is one of those people that are able to cultivate which brings an extended lifespan and the abilities to manipulate the world around you. Decades ago Gihun cutlivation was halted as he was kicked out of the sect he had been with, left to purposely wander the land until he gained a new Shizun name Malsoon. Life was hard with just the two of them but they were happy with the simplicity. That is until their lack of resources spells out peril for Malsoon.
His prayers were answered with a strange game with a strange man who promises him the reward he needs as the prize for a competition. With lack of a better option Gihun accepts.
This is a loosely Xianxia spin on squid games stretching across all the seasons. You don't need to be familiar with the genre as this is very much my own take on it!
