Summary
Wheeler has spent six years building walls around himself. As second-in-command of the Hellfire biker gang, he's learned that trust gets you killed and feelings are a weakness he can't afford. He's fine with that, until a stranger with a sketchbook walks into his bar.
Will Byers knows better than to trust bikers. After his sister's death near a clubhouse, he's seen what they're capable of. But there's something about the man who steps in when a stranger won't take no for an answer — something about the way he looks at Will like he's trying to solve a puzzle.
Neither of them was looking for this. Both of them are terrified of it.
Because in the world of Hellfire and Vipers, catching feelings isn't just dangerous. It could get you killed.

Summary
Will Byers has been lying about the painting for years. Mike Wheeler only found out the truth recently — and he's been carrying it in silence ever since.
One night in the basement, surrounded by dice and dust and years of things left unsaid, the truth finally catches up with them — and it doesn't go the way either of them expected.
What starts as a heated argument turns into something much more intimate. The van. The painting. The words Will never meant to say out loud. Mike doesn't let him run this time. He pins him against the wall, underneath the painting Will made for him, and makes him repeat everything he said in that van — not like it was from her, but like it was from him.
Because it always was.
Or
After a heated argument, Mike Wheeler stops running and fucks Will Byers in front of the painting.
