He’s not clingy, he’s simply not.
It doesn’t matter that it’s been exactly 19 hours and 34 minutes since he last texted Mark and hasn’t gotten a response yet. And it certainly doesn’t matter that every time his phone vibrates in his pocket his heart wants to jump out of his chest and he immediately rushes to pick it up, only to be disappointed.
He’s not a clingy boyfriend, so his fingertips aren’t aching to type another message, or a million more until Mark replies. He doesn’t want to call and call until he answers so he can hear his voice for the slightest second, because he’s not like that. He’s not clingy.
That’s not what Mark wants.
