“Do you reckon you’re going to be arrested for abducting a prince?” Henry asks, somewhat serious, considering Shaan had orders to take him somewhere completely differently than Austin.
Shaan barks out a dry laugh. He seems startled at the sound, and immediately takes a long sip of his tea. “I didn’t abduct you, Your Royal Highness,” he replies. "You asked to be taken elsewhere."
Canon compliant until the e-mails are leaked, this fic follows Henry (and Shaan) after Henry makes the decision to go rogue, ignoring his grandmother's orders and leaving the country. This fic is mostly Henry's point of view with the exception of the first chapter, which is from Alex's point of view.
Trigger warnings for this one are references to depression and suicide.

Look, Alex Claremont-Diaz might be many things; a caffeine addict, a bit of a slob (yes he will pick up some of the clothes on the floor and throw out his old notes sometime), an avid list maker (even this itself is a list, see, point proven), a stubborn motherfucker, professional insomniac… But one thing he’s not is an idiot.
Sometimes he gets a little bit oblivious, he can admit to that much, it might take him some time to figure things out. Like why he wasn’t welcomed at June and Nora’s sleepovers sometimes or how they had this weird connection between them and what it meant. But he gets there eventually, okay?
So it took him some time, well it should have been obvious from his first reaction to Henry’s ’But we were ever so careful, dear’ message, giggling into his phone like a fucking tennager, but he is now very well aware of the fact that he is into Henry.
And reluctantly he can admit that it might not be purely physical attraction, he may or may not be harboring some feelings towards the unnecessarily charming asshole as well.

What would happen if Alex figured out he was bisexual and attracted to Henry before the New Year's Eve Party.
