After a glorious thing happened, followed by a rather uninspired "thank you", Colin Bridgerton found no other solution than to flee the scene, leaving a quite flustered Penelope Featherington even more confused than she already was about this whole "attracting a husband lessons gone wrong" affair.
One week later, however, Colin felt drawn to climb this mountain of paradoxical feelings and attain peace and clarity yet again... At least was it the initial goal until he noticed a weird agitation right at the Featherington House's doorstep. Unless... unless the worst to expect is transpiring within?
