Summary
“You two have so much pent up frustration I can feel it radiating whenever you step in the same room.”
“I think that’s their sexual tension.”
“Oh, is that what they call hatred nowadays?”
(Or, Jungkook just wants to make it through college and play soccer. A mortal enemy with benefits who also happens to be your team captain can make that pretty damn difficult)

Summary
Nothing could have prepared him for that moment. No amount of training or any amount experience could have prepared him. Jungkook locks eyes with him again.
“Taehyung?”
Taehyung looks back at him. His expression doesn't change.
“Taehyung, is that you? It’s me. It’s Jungkook.”
Jungkook can barely hold himself up. He’s been trained for every situation but right now he’s at a complete loss for words. That’s Taehyung. His Taehyung. He knows it is.

Summary
“Ilya–” Shane breathed, high and wheezy. “You can’t– You can’t leave me! Please, God, please, don’t take him. Please, please, I can’t lose– I can’t–”
A blaring alarm yanked him out of his panic like a fish out of water. He shot upright, flailing his limbs that were caught in something soft. Blurred splashes of colour steadily painted a picture of a bedroom he’d recognise anywhere. It was brighter now, light pouring in through partially shut curtains. His breath was heavy and he struggled making sense of how the hell he’d ended up in bed when just a moment ago, Ilya had–
“Hollander.” Ilya slurred, narrowing his eyes at him. “Turn that thing off.”
Or, Shane is stuck in a time loop that resets whenever his fiancé dies.

Summary
Taehyung was born into nature. As the God of spring, he is destined to give life back to the earth, spending his days making the flowers bloom and the meadows flourish. All his life, he’s been convinced that the Gods of the underworld can only mean disaster; they bring death in their wake, which completely contradicts the work he puts forth in order to keep things alive. Still, he finds no reason that he can’t get along with Jeongguk, who is nice despite the deadly world he was born into.
Your origins don’t define you - this is what Taehyung believes. It’d be so much easier if their parents thought the same.

Summary
Jeongguk wishes that he could absorb Taehyung's sadness, his despair. He wishes that he could carry the weight of Taehyung's anguish, that he could be the one who had to carry out such inhumane treatment, because Taehyung, his sweet, loving Taehyung was not made for a world built from bloodshed and war.
Taehyung was made for a world conjured from love and happiness.
(OR: Taehyung's a warrior and Jeongguk's the camp's healer who tends to Taehyung after a fatality).

Summary
“Taehyung.” Jeongguk stops him, his hand tight on his wrist and his head roaring, aching and spinning all at the same time with his thoughts jumbling up but the elder’s lips curl --- that toothy boxy grin he has seen through the years. “You disappeared. You literally disappeared. You were gone for seconds and then you just --- materialized!”
“I have no magic tricks, Jeonggukie.” He replies and smiles because that’s what Taehyung does. He smiles like nothing’s wrong, he laughs and makes everything brighter and beautiful and worth it.
But now Jeongguk’s confused and part of him thinks it’s because of those cups of coffee last night and another thinks it’s because he’s going insane; insane because for five seconds, he saw Taehyung vanish into thin air.
Or Jeongguk’s happy as a college freshman and is in love with the physical embodiment of sunshine but some shitty supernatural phenomenon makes his boyfriend appear and disappear like magic and the world must have messed up.
