Summary
Keonho opens his mouth and slowly says, “I thought you were content with what we had.”
It shocks Seonghyeon to hear. He wonders how Keonho could possibly think that after what happened at the party. A flood of emotions make their way into his heart, clogging his throat, wetting his eyes. Injustice throbs through his body. The wish to be understood. Seen.
“Did I look content when I stormed out of that bathroom?” Seonghyeon scoffs, careful not to get too angry again. “You really don't get it, do you? I don't just want to be your dirty secret,” he says, fighting for himself, fighting not to cry. Finally saying what he wanted to say for a long time.
(Mid nineties. Seonghyeon's and Keonho's relationship dangles somewhere between friendship and more, but there always seems to be something in the way for it to develop further. Until the day Seonghyeon crumbles and finally confronts Keonho - bringing a raw love story to life.)
