Summary
“It’s not pinching, is it?” Feixiao said. He felt her fingers hook between the straps and the bare skin of his thigh. “Moze, look here. See how there’s a little give?”
Moze rallied himself and looked down. Feixiao stared up at him, past the silicone cock jutting out from the harness. She tugged at the strap and said, “See?”
It was all Moze could do in that moment to maintain eye contact. Speech was well beyond him. He managed to nod.
Feixiao prepares a get-well-soon present for Jiaoqiu.

Summary
The body was supposed to acclimate to any constant it was exposed to. That was the promise, or the threat—Nezumi wasn’t sure which—threaded through every play and poem and back alley encounter he had known. Treat desire as an exploitable human weakness long enough, and eventually the act would become nothing more than an exchange, the hurt after would dull to a manageable ache, even if you were the sort who learned to go numb rather than burn in its wake. That was the math he had learned, and it was supposed to make everything easier. It was supposed to make none of it matter.
He had been wrong.

Summary
Jean ends up wandering the apartment trying to imagine what it’ll look like after six months of being there. Jab trots behind him like a little shadow, sniffing at corners and occasionally sneezing. He seems to be handling the move well so far, at least.
“Does it feel weird?” Jeremy asks, leaning against the kitchen island and watching with eyes that Jean can feel even with his back turned.
“A little,” Jean admits.
Jeremy tilts his head to the side and fresh blonde hair falls into his eyes. He looks frustratingly beautiful, even more than usual, but Jean’s not sure how much of that is the touched-up hair and how much of it is knowing he has his own place with this man. “Bad weird? Good weird?”
“Good weird,” Jean says easily, and that makes Jeremy’s dimples appear.
Jean signs with California after graduating from USC and moves into a new apartment with Jeremy down in San Diego. The realization of how much future they suddenly have hits both of them.

Summary
The phone rings and Miles answers, voice sharp and forbidding, jarred from a rare restful sleep.
“Do you have any idea what time it is, Wright?”
“No,” a soft, contrite, feminine voice says over the line. A young voice.
…and that is how Miles Edgeworth finds out about the disbarment.
~~
Miles Edgeworth and Trucy Wright have a lot in common, actually.
