“No,” she replied before quickly adding. “Would you like to give me some?”

‘Why am I here, Hermione?’ he whispered, leaning incrementally closer with each word.
A ragged swallow was all she could manage as his knuckles stroked her jaw.
‘No?’ he pressed, tapping her skin lightly. Taunting. ‘No reason?’
The bastard. He knew, of course he fucking knew. The cocky look on his beautiful face told her everything. He wanted to hear it—to hear that she wanted him, and maybe Hermione wanted to tell him. Maybe she was finally ready to admit it to herself.
Her eyes closed behind her mask as she answered in a barely audible whisper, ’I wanted you here. I want… I want you.’
