Summary
There had always been a severity to Reiner, a permanence on his furrowed brow that had annoyed Eren at first and endeared him later. But the lines in his face had been kind, the tone in his voice had not been as harsh and gritty as it was now.
It was as if the man he had known had transformed itself, as if the titan had gotten hold of his flesh and twisted his face and insides into something unrecognizable.
