Summary
She grabbed her things out of her locker and thanked god it was not a student council day, and raced to the front. Seeing Miss Kurusu standing at the front doors, watching the rain, made Goro’s heart beat in her ears. Goro wished she was a teacher, or that Miss Kurusu was a student. It would be so much easier to contain—or confess— this crush she had on her. The scene reminded her of the shoujo manga she used to sneak at the library into her bag so the other students didn’t see and make fun of her for being a romantic.
She shoved those hopes down though as Miss Kurusu turned toward her and smiled, red-lipped perfection, almost making Goro forget herself. This was nothing like those stories. Goro’s teacher would help her get home and then that would be that. And when Goro graduated at the end of the year, she’d be nothing more than Goro’s lesbian awakening story, how she had a hot teacher in high school, and that would be that.
