The afternoon had been a hectic one. Downpour and flooding, thankfully, no one had gotten seriously injured, Rutile slept soundly in the next room; wood cracked within fireplace, offering a lovely tune to accompany the pouring rain. Tonight, his clinic serves as a sleepover. A jingle at door sees him getting up and putting practiced smile to use:
“Coming, coming! What can Dr. Figaro do for …” Hospitality reserved for people nurtured and raised fades to a chilling disconnect; albeit dressed differently than he remembers, there’s no way he’d forget the man now standing in his doorway. Looking as reluctant as Figaro feels. Not wanting to watch rainwater and dirt trickle inside more than it has, he encourages Oz to get inside already and make certain the door is locked. Seems his afternoon is about to get more hectic than he bargained for. The taller wizard hardly has his first foot through the door before Figaro’s resuming what he suspects will be a largely one-sided conversation. “Why are you here?”

Another part of "The Little Mermaid" that always stood out to Hiyori was near the beginning of the story. As the story went, the little mermaid and her sisters each had their own garden plots on the ocean floor. Even though the mermaid princesses were all free to decorate their gardens however they wanted, the only flowers the little mermaid grew were flaming red flowers arranged in a circle, like the sun.

"Sorry I’m late, I got caught up talking outside," Nino says smoothly, like he’d always expected to rescue his wayward fiancé from the clutches of a surprise high school reunion this evening.
