Summary
After the fight with Thanos, Stephen Strange found himself lost in something uncomfortably familiar.
Lost, because he was starting over again—moving to a place that wasn’t home. Familiar, because the quiet roads, thin mountain air, and too-small town reminded him of a life he’d once sworn he’d outgrown.
After half the universe vanished and returned the Masters of the Sanctums did something radical: they told Stephen to take a break.
Apparently, saving reality came with mandatory rest. So he left New York for somewhere quiet.
Which was how he ended up in a countryside town, holed up in a small, unassuming old cabin that barely qualified as a Sanctum, with far too much silence and an engineer who kept appearing at exactly the wrong moments.
