Summary
Beau has been a pirate for most of his life. His father adopted him when he was twelve, saving him from his past, and since then he had taught the child everything he knew. So Beau had naturally become the first mate of his father's crew. His life was as straight as a pirate's life could be. He woke up, ate among the others, read his book, and helped around the ship, giving orders when he needed to. It was a good life. It all changed when a siren entered his life, forcing him to live a life of secrets and things left unsaid.
Azzio dreamed of running away from their life. Their mother, or as close to a mother as they ever had, died and all they had left were people who didn't understand their grief. They needed to leave, to escape. So when a pirate saved their life despite all odds, they quickly grew obsessed with him. He was the one thing that wasn't connected to their world, the one thing that allowed them some semblance of escape. But they were from two different worlds, it wasn't easy to find each other in the vast ocean. It never stopped Azzio from trying to find the one human deserving of kindness.
