Summary
"She didn't turn off her humanity. She chose her own destiny."
After her mother's death, Caroline Forbes refused to be broken. Maintaining absolute control over her emotions, she breaks away from Mystic Falls and pursues her future with Niklaus Mikaelson in New Orleans.
However, when a devastating choice in a moment of danger reveals the Hybrid's darkest side, Caroline decides to leave and never look back.
Searching for her true origins in Manhattan, an ancestral revelation changes everything: Caroline is a Herondale, a descendant of Shadowhunters, possessor of celestial blood, and the twin sister of Jace Herondale.
Combining an enhanced immortality with the light of the Nephilim, she is reborn in the steel of New York. Two years later, alongside her parabatai Isabelle Lightwood and Magnus Bane, Caroline rules as Queen of the Vampires and commands the global empire of Continental Hotels, a neutral and inviolable sanctuary.
When a mystical plague forces her old friends and a remorse-plagued Klaus to track her down, they no longer find the girl from Mystic Falls.
They find an unshakeable Sovereign, ready to defend her empire at all costs.English is not my first language, sorry!

Summary
The door was already open because it hadn’t been last time, and that rude lieutenant kicked it open and broke it.
Alec immediately jumped on him and grabbed the dishcloth from his hand, with which he tried to hit the burning wok on the stove, which, by the way, was only fuel for the fire because the cloth burst into flames as well. Alec threw it into the sink and used a portable fire extinguisher to put out the flames on the stove and the food on it.

.
"You’ve completely ruined my dinner! At least you didn't destroy my door this time,” he said, glancing at the stove and the soggy wok.“You’re welcome! Asshole!”

Summary
When Jace dies, Raziel refuses to bring him back and disturb the delicate balance between life and death. Instead, Clary creates a rune; a rune to bring him back, to heal, to fix everything that was once broken. Incidentally, she sets far greater things in motion than she’d initially bargained for.
Because such is the power of the angel running through her veins.
Or: The TID, TLH, TMI, and TDA ensembles react to the Shadowhunter Chronicles: Clockwork Angel.
