Summary
Like their name implies, aberrations tend to not follow the rules of the Material Plane, including a certain mind flayer with an existential case of partialism. Same goes with the fey, or to an extent, a tiefling raised in the Feywild with aspirations of becoming an archfey.
Alternatively, a story where two strange people begin a tug of war throughout the events of Baldur’s Gate III, only to get caught up in mutual pining, mind games, and (mostly) ethical meet-cutes.

Summary
“You have far less blood than V in your body right now,” Neuman says. “Not ideal. What’s your type?”
Starlight stops breathing. Stops speaking. Chemical-borne instinct informs her it’s an attack and to act immediately. Her heart, thundering forward, tells her something else entirely.
“Your blood type,” Neuman clarifies, in a tone she usually reserves for chauvinistic senators.
