Summary
Alina and Mal have been living peacefully together at Keramzin, until Mal falls ill. Alina takes him to the Little Palace, hoping someone there can help. Genya notices something off about Mal, this illness is killing him, and she realizes he may not make it much longer. When Mal dies, Alina grieves her lost love, thinking she will never recover. Later, she realizes she may have feelings for Genya.
