It was their monthly meeting with the Major Family, and Vegas noticed a face so out of place, among the grim-looking bodyguards in black suits lining the Major Family’s side.
He beckoned Nop, his right-hand man, “Who’s that?” he nodded at the guy.
Nop did a quick look, “That’s Pete, Chan’s boy. Heard he is in the run to be his second-in-command.”
Vegas snorted, “So that old man has a thing for pretty boys?”
Vegas didn’t notice the look Nop was giving him.

Summary
Bible, Peter, Job, and Rong (OMC) are actual mafias - part of an ancient mafia family dated back 10 generations, the Knight’s family. Currently led by Peter’s father, Seth Knight, and Peter plus his four brothers all have their own region of power, spanning almost half of Asia.
Peter is from the First Family and Bible is from the Second Family – not related by blood, but by oath. Rong is Peter's most trusted right-hand man, while Job is The Janitor. Peter and Mile’s families have beneficial relationship, so Peter and Mile are (reluctantly) friends.
So why are these people starring in a BL series?
Because what Pearl wants, Pearl gets.
(The Filmania event still happened, but with Kinn, Vegas, Pol, and Chan having different actors. The subsequent takeover was by Mile's fully owned company MYSTIC, and poor P'Roy was dragged kicking and screaming into directing this crazy show. The event to form KPTS is loosely based on the real world, but with Mile, Bible, Peter, and Job “auditioned” at MYSTIC and easily won their respective roles. Rong originally is only there to guard Khun Peter, but sh*t happens and suddenly he is Mok, Jom's childhood friend)

Summary
Hwang Jun-ho accidentally rescues the Recruiter, Moon Ki-yong, from certain death, and now faces the consequences — which are having to deal with this extra annoyance. Thinking him useful, Jun-ho drags him into his mission of finding the island, and stopping the Games for good. Ki-yong, whether he likes it or not, is his key to infiltrating the games, helping Gi-hun, and reuniting with In-ho — the key to Jun-ho’s peace.
Ki-yong, meanwhile, faces his own moral dillemas. He has every possibility to betray and kill Jun-ho; but, for an unknown reason, he does not. Is he weakened by this strange man, or is he simply biding his time?
Soon, both of them are in too deep...
( Or, despite everything they stand for, ex-policeman Hwang Jun-ho and recruiter Moon Ki-yong grow close as they fight against the Games and their leaders, in this rewrite of the second season of Squid Game. )

Once the Salesman swears he won’t breathe a word about this conversation to anyone else, especially Captain Hwang, Jun-ho admits, “I’m trying to set hyung up.”
“That girl is a bit young for your brother, don’t you think? By, oh I dunno, several decades?"
“What?” They both gaze down at the blank screen of his phone. “No, not her. Her dad! But how would I even start that message? ‘Hey random kid I don't know. Question for you. Is your dad open to dating a man? If so, I know a guy.’”
… oh god, what the fuck is he doing? Jun-ho should have kept his mouth shut. The last thing his brother needs is rumors spreading around the office about his sexuality!
“I mean, to be clear, I don’t know if hyung is even attracted to men -”
“Are you?”
“What?”
“I said, ‘The Captain isn’t attracted to anyone'. So at this point, if someone catches his attention, I personally don’t think gender matters.”
Jun-ho lets out a breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding. He forgot they both saw the same thing. Some schmuck of a spirit must be possessing Captain Hwang whenever Seong Gi-hun comes around, because that was not his charismatic, charming, self-assured hyung in there!
