Summary
This fic will be my take on a sequel to DAI and Trespasser. I was so excited about the continuation of the story, but I found myself very disappointed with Veilguard. I spent so much time trying to accept it, but eventually gave up. Instead, I have decided to reject it entirely!
But doing so left a big ol’ hole in my heart for what could have been, and that’s why I’m writing. I’m going to weave in the things that were alluded to in the Trespasser epilogue, along with elements from the art book and build upon them. But I’ll also add my own twists and turns!
It begins directly after the events of Trespasser, so it ignores most of the character epilogues. No one gets to rest in my version of Thedas!
This is, first and foremost, something I’m writing to self-soothe. But if you come across it, I hope you enjoy it!
