He stopped for a moment, contemplated for one last time as Ten's sobs echoed silently behind him. They know it hurts. They know their hearts will probably not be able to recover from this.
But nobody moved.
Nobody dared to face the other.
Cause they feared that if they do, they won't be able to move forward, and just be a burden for the other.
Whichever dumbsh*t made letting go romantic and heroic in movies, they're damn well wrong. Not when Ten feels like his heart was crumbling, waiting for Kun to go out that door and leave before it finally shatters into pieces.
Nothing about this is romantic at all.
But if there's something right about the movies, it's that letting go is something they both need.
