Rumi sighed as they came to a stop, voices trailing away and hands still clasped together. She looked up at Jinu. His eyes were so soft as they met hers, and he smiled.
“Thank you,” he said.
“We can do this,” Rumi said firmly.
He raised a hand to her face, brushing back the hair that had escaped her braid. His eyes dropped down before raising to meet hers again.
She leaned into his hand where it lingered against her cheek.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked.
