Summary
Evune’rasa Maelle Limaen Lavellan was born at night, under a clear sky, and on calm waters aboard a Dalish sea aravel. Her parents had tried for years to have children and she was their dream. For the first seven years of her life she lived free. Then her family was taken, her magic manifested, she and her cousin Inean barely escaped with their lives, and she was adopted into a Free Marches clan. They couldn't be more different than her birth family. A chance to escape their judgement, even for a little while, drew her to the Conclave and another violent change. Blessed or cursed by the mark in her hand, she wasn't sure. She would figure it out later, if she lived to tell the tale.

Summary

Vision is enraptured by her story as much as her letting him see who she wants to be. Baby steps along the road they insist to walk together are important.

So much lore I might die but I love every second and don't want any of them back. Beast of a story that grabs you by the face and doesn't let go. Maori is amazing. The canon characters are absolutely present and I can hear their voices as clear as day. Much action. Much history. Much magic. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelves. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangst. 11/10 recommend. (last ch. read - 151)
