Vi Lane and Caitlyn Kiramman have been friends ever since the end of high school.
Sure, they were completely different people that came from different backgrounds. Caitlyn was a rich girl with her whole life planned out for her, set for a successful career as a pianist when she finished university. Vi came from the wrong side of the tracks, making ends meet as a mechanic when she isn't doing her classes. Summary
Forced to abdicate her rightful throne due to a formality buried in ancient text, Princess Caitlyn Kiramman is driven from her home to the den of the Red Beast. A foreboding cavern in the mountainside where she's meant to wait out her unnaturally suspended days until either the fables prove true and some strange gallant knight rescues her or she bows to the one who cursed her to this fate. For others this would merely be the beginning of some long-told tale about true love and the possibility of happily ever after if she plays the damsel in distress.
