Leo hesitates, looking off to the side, trying to act nonchalant as he shrugs, "Never been in one." He looks back just in time to see Usagi do a double take, mouth open in apparent silent shock. Leo resists the urge to make some dumb joke like "Wanna be my first?" because that would expose just how embarrassed the answer made him.
Usagi takes another moment to gather his thoughts, looking like he's waiting for Leo to tell him he was joking, like a delayed punchline. "You—" He points at him, "You. You've never dated?"

It was no shocker that Donatello spent most of time alone, he'd been isolating himself the most from day one. Even now, he was all alone, sitting on the rotating chair of his lab. He was working on blueprints, though he would probably end up scrapping more than half of these later. He groaned as he tried to focus, then immediately shook his head. Clearly he wasn't getting anywhere. He leaned forward a little, crossing his legs as he rested his forehead on the desk.
He couldn't concentrate. His brain waves tangled with each other, making it physically impossible for him to focus. Many things were on his mind, too many things.
He avoided getting closer to anyone who wasn't his family, what if one day they just… left? What if they didn't like him anymore? What if they died!? That not even being the worst case scenario he had imagined.
