Summary
Sixteen year old Alex Dunne Piastri is done. Not “I hate school” done — but “my divorced parents are still in love and ruining my life” done.
His papa and daddy, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, “ended things”… except they absolutely didn’t. They still flirt like it’s a competitive sport, argue over nothing, and send Alex on daily espionage missions: “Do you think your dad misses me today?” or “can you just… make sure your papa's…okay?”
Alex is convinced the divorce was just two emotionally constipated idiots refusing to talk — so he’s taking matters into his own hands. Expect meddling, sabotage, accidental therapy sessions, and an alarming amount of secondhand embarrassment.

Summary
“Hmm, you’re interesting, Piastri,” Max hums, still so fucking close, “I’ll be watching you.”
Oscar’s heart is beating ungodly fast, but it hurts in a good way, “I like an audience, keep your eyes on me, Verstappen. Won’t disappoint.”
The hand on his neck tightens its grip, and Max leans in close enough that Oscar can feel how his mouth moves as he speaks, “You won’t, I won’t let you.”
(Oscar likes to push until he gets hurt. Max likes to hurt until he gets pushed away. It's a match made in hell.)

Summary
"If it makes you feel any better," Oscar startled at his mother's voice, "I've never heard of anyone seriously carrying a grudge over a soulmate bruise."
"I know..." He hesitated, staring at the floor, "It's not that, not really."
"Feeling guilty then?" She guessed.
He let out the breath he'd been holding and met her eyes in the mirror. She was leaning against the door frame, arms crossed, a rather fond grin on her face.
"I don't want to hurt them. But I don't want to stop racing either."
She nodded in understanding, "And you can't do both."
(oh look it's another soulmates sharing bruises au. title from the exit by conan gray bc exactly two lines from the song fit the fic)
