Seokjin closed his eyes and blew the candle as soon as the clock struck twelve. He kept his eyes closed waiting to feel something extraordinary, a tingle, or a spark, or anything that would make him realize that he had crossed the monumental age of twenty-two.
He tried to keep his head empty as he felt excited about the clues of which person was destined for him and somehow, he could feel Jungkook’s nervousness envelop him — Wait.
At the end of the night, Seokjin understood why people don’t celebrate their twenty-second birthday – being hit by destiny right in your face was not entirely a good experience.
