Lena runs off to her Metropolis ski resort to put Kara out of her mind. Across the globe, Cat's grueling schedule is no longer working to distract her from where she really wants to be, and as luck would have it, Carter has found the perfect vacation spot in Metropolis. But he needs a babysitter while on the slopes. Since Kara's powers are fritzing while she nurses her own despair, a vacation away from the demands of National City would be just the thing.

Following the 100th episode of Supergirl, Metallo Lena crosses universes and ends up at LuthorCorp, set on getting her revenge on Supergirl. Kara not only has to deal with someone trying to kill her again, she also has to explain to her best friend why and how her carbon-copy is walking around LuthorCorp, and has to keep her sister from actually killing the Other Lena.
And why is it easier to talk to the Other Lena who wants to kill her than it is to talk to her actual best friend?
Or,
Evil Lena ends up in National City and Kara can't seem to stay away from her. Her Lena isn't too pleased.

Miranda studied the tie closest to Nigel’s wrist, a patternless option in tangerine. She picked it up and beckoned Andrea over with a bend of one finger. Once close enough, she draped the tie over her assistant's left shoulder to compare it against the large apricot-toned hibiscus on the print of her blouse. It was exactly the color she was looking for, and as Miranda smoothed the fabric with her hand, she could feel Andrea’s heart thundering beneath her palm. A pink blush crept up her chest and neck, and as it made its way to her cheeks, Miranda silently admired how lovely the hue was there.

What a perfectly weird and roundabout way to describe the end of a romantic relationship, Kara thinks. “Oh?” she says, aptly demonstrating her own comparative lack of eloquence.
It earns her one of Lena’s crinkly smiles at least, affection clear on her best friend’s face. “Should I feel offended that you don’t seem all that surprised?” she flusters.
“No,” Kara says, “I am,” and she is, is the thing, she's actually stunned, but she’s something else, much more than that.
She’s elated.
“Bummer,” Kara says.
